Adrienne and Selena first started collabing in 2009. Influenced and inspired by each others use of materials and particular styles they both desired to create a most appropriate and complementary form. Adrienne has been mastering twining, the traditional Australian Indigenous technique of basket making , while Selena was born with a sewing needle in her hand and has an ability to create both the most esquisite and macabre creature like dolls . Pop Ups explores the transitional period between the being a child to the mother of children.
